The 2015 Elections are right in front of us. These elections, unlike previous ones, come at a time of great instability in the nation. No day passes without some drama, whether comedic, tragic, or both. Continue reading “Less Complaints, More Actions”

The Enemy Within
For many individuals, having an “enemy” is a practical reality. The enemy is seen as an adversary who never seeks a person’s good, but rather, is willing to go all the way out to sabotage a person’s efforts, causing ruin and sorrow in the process. However, despite the high propensity of individuals to blame enemies (real or assumed) for their misfortunes, many times, the real enemy lies within. The complainant easily fits the picture of his own enemy. Continue reading “The Enemy Within”
Durrhhs and Winddowws
Every generation has its nuances that define a large percentage of the members of that generation. Each day, one trend gradually catches up with a society, as another trend gradually fades away into the obscurity of “one-time-important” trends. PVC Wahala
At last, I have collected my permanent voter’s card (PVC). So, by INEC’s rules, I should be able to cast my vote next year, choosing between two sides of a coin. Continue reading “PVC Wahala”
Intellectuals Needed!
I’m supposed to post a recap of the lessons gained in Church yesterday. However, due to external cluelessness-induced reasons, that post would come later. Continue reading “Intellectuals Needed!”
Please Give Me Light!!!
“Let there be light”…and there was darkness.
They say, “There’s no place like home”. After all, it’s “home, sweet home”. In the past couple of days, I’ve had enough time to ponder about the relative incorrectness of that statement. Continue reading “Please Give Me Light!!!”
Innocent Mistake or Incompetence?
Primary and secondary school was about competition. We wanted to personalize the first position in class, and we became unhappy whenever anyone beat us to the prize. Move forward a couple of years; life in the university was very different.
